This March, there is no shortage of comic conventions and expositions to choose from in Florida. Events will be hosted in cities throughout the sunshine state from West Palm Beach to Miami, Orlando and Tampa. Various events will feature esteemed guests, including voice actors, illustrators and writers, and there are often tons of panels and events. A large-scale exposition, Omni Expo includes a formal ball, a masquerade, a Voltron sleepover, a villains’ burlesque show and a multitude events centered around popular fandoms. Between the events, be sure to visit panels from visiting special guests, including the animation director for Death Note and Naruto Shippuden, Mamoru Yokota.

A brand-new convention will be taking place for the very first time this March. Whether, you’re into anime, epic fantasies or cosplaying, there’s sure to be something for you. Special guests include voice actor R Bruce Elliot, who lent his voice to multiple anime dubs, such as Dragon Ball Kai, Black Butler and Full Metal Alchemist, as well as actress Chalet Lizette Brannan, who will be starring in the new Friday the 13th Vengeance.

AfroCon

A celebration of diverse superheroes, AfroCon is a free family-friendly event. Attendees can take part in crafts, fan art contests, photo ops, a cosplay contest, an escape room challenge among other activities. Special guests include artist Robert Richardson, who has worked on publications, such as Luminous Ages and Dragon Cross, and writer Marcus Roberts of the Independent Creators Connection.
